My Life as an artist began I my early years spent in the Berkshires of northwestern Connecticut where I was exposed to the natural beauty of the mountains and lakes. It was no surprise then that when I discovered the Adirondack Mountains and lakes shortly after college, there was an instant affinity. I received my degree in Fine Art from the College of Mount Saint Vincent on the Hudson River in New York State, an MA in Education from New York University, and an MA in Art Therapy from Marywood University.

After enjoying the art of place and people as a designer, teacher and therapist, I recently returned to the Adirondacks and its inspiring beauty and began the art of watercolor painting. I have studied with Ann Lindsay and Jeanne Carbonetti. And as I have developed my artistic style, I have realized a renewed love of the beauty of the organic lines and colors of nature. I am also inspired by both the Asian and Celtic spirit resulting in the presence of a symbolic spiritual significance in my work, which at times is deliberate, but more often it is later discovered. My watercolor studio is located in Coreys on the Stony Creek Ponds.
